Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) invites recruitment application for the post of Junior Accounts Officers (JAOs) to the Indian candidates. Pay Scale for the post of JAOs in BSNL: 16400-40500 (IDA Pattern)

In Pay Scale addition, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, LTC etc. will be admissible as per company rules. The emolument at the minimum of the pay scale will be around Rs.20,500/- excluding HRA, perks, medical benefits, LTC etc.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the selection process you must have one of the following as your Educational qualification: (31st December 2009)

• A qualified Chartered Accountant
• A qualified Cost & Works Accountant
• A qualified Company Secretary
• M.Com (Master of Commerce)

All qualifications must be through a recognized Institute or Board. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India/Institute of Cost and Works Accountants and a recognized Institution/University of India.

Age Limit: (as on 1st, January 2010 )

• External Candidates: 20 years to 30 years (Relaxation as per rules)
• BSNL Employees: Upper age-limit is relaxable by upto 5 years

Application Fee:

Rs.1000/-in the form of DD/ Pay Order drawn in favour of Accounts Officers (Cash), O/o CGM, NTR, New Delhi payable New Delhi, But note that the application form downloaded from the web or even a photo copy of it should not be used to send the application. No Fee payable by SC/ ST/ PH candidates.

The complete application form in prescribed format should be sent by Registered post/Speed post or in person so as to reach the DGM (Admn.), O/o CGM (Mtce.), BSNL, Northern Telecom Region, Room No. 257, 2nd Floor, Kidwai Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi-110001, before or at on 15th December 2009.

The envelope containing application form should be marked “Application for the post of for Junior Accounts Officers in BSNL” in bold letters on the top of the envelope.

Selection Procedure:

The mode of selection is through an All India Competitive Examination. Only Indian Nationals would be eligible to apply. The candidates appearing in the JAO exam can download the syllabus for the post of JAO from the website of BSNL.
