www.coca-colascholars.org is an official site for the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. This Foundation was founded in 1989 to provide the number of scholarships for young generation who want to get knowledge in their selected field and who want to make a difference in the world. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation worked as a non-profit organization in the direction of The Coca-Cola System. The requirements for achieving scholarships are the attending four year colleges and also the earning two year degrees. The Coca-Cola scholarship application information is given below.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation offers a merit based program with larger than average awards because of limited resources and the large number of applications. The foundation provides the small percentage of scholarships for all applicants so they show the brief list of scholarship resources at here.
Coca Cola Scholarships Program
This is a very competitive program. There are 100,000 and more applications applied in each year. The application deadline is October 31, 2009.The selection procedure starts with an application and the school or work records.
The US high school seniors who want to apply for scholarships must have a GPA of minimum3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Total 250 scholarships are awarded each year at two different levels 50 scholarship at National level and 200 at Regional level.
The applicant will be chosen to be a semifinalist after review of the first application; the other application would be required with the composition biographical information, and letters of reference.
The applicant who is selected in the national level will receive $20, 000 scholarships, and at the regional level receive $10,000 scholarships. The 400 Coca-Cola scholarships available for the students who have plan for two year colleges and earn a two year degree. The 50 of them are for $2,000 and other are in the amount of $1,000.
The financial aid department of college had responsibility to nominate applicants, if the students want to know about nomination should go in office.
