For non-EU students who did not have a stay in an EU-country for more than one year over the last five years (called category A students), EMARO Masters programme will have about 8 Erasmus Mundus scholarships. A student not having rank among the top 10% of his class, has small chance to be selected due to limited number of grants. A grant of totally 24 000€ per year will be received by the selected student.
Description:
Masters students, selected by EMARO consortium can be awarded for the Category “A” scholarships, who are not from Europe Union states, Iceland, Norway and Lichtenstein, Turkey, Switzerland, Western Balkan Countries include Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia as well as who have not carried out their main activity and not residents for more than one year.
Application:
Students can do the application to an Erasmus Mundus scholarship through the classical student’s application procedure of EMARO. Keep in mind that third country student applicants must be limited to three Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses maximum. A student who applies to more than three EM Courses will be excluded from the selection for an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship in the ultimate case.
A proposal to Erasmus Mundus programme consists of a main list and a waiting list and must be sent till January 2010. In the main list, at the most two students from the same country can be selected, however the decision of scholarship will be sent to students after receiving from Brussels on end of February and students, who withdraw from main list, the best student will be selected, upgraded to the waiting list and immediately will be notified.
For the academic year 2010-2011, the application for Erasmus Mundus Grants has been opened from 15 October 2009 till 15 December 2009.
For the academic year 2010-2011, the application for Erasmus Mundus Grants category B will be opened from 5 January 2010 to 30 March 2011.
Scholarships and fees:
International Master in Rural Development Students has diverse options for financing the program. The European Union provides Erasmus Mundus scholarships both to non-European students and European students as of academic year 2010-2011. According to the definition of nationality, student should attach the correct category of students.
Application procedure:
The first step of application is online registration and application form. Register in the IMRD database, fill application form and submit it to the central IMRD secretariat. And load printout of your documents.
