The full name of TISS is Tata Institute of Social Sciences, which was established in 1936 as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a Deemed University and funded by the Government of India.

Eligibility:

A Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognised University, in any discipline.

Important Dates:

• The Admission test was scheduled on Sunday, December 13, 2009.
• Announcement of Eligible Candidates on TISS website for Group Discussion / Personal Interview for all Programmes was held on January 24, 2010.
• Group Discussions/Personal Interviews at TISS Mumbai Campus for all the programmes will be conducted from March 14 to March 21, 2010.
• Announcement of Selection on TISS website for all the Programmes shall be on April 20, 2010.
