• Tentative Date of Written Examination: 23/02/2010.

Assistant Manager (Official Language)

• Number of Vacancies: 16
• Age limit: Min – 21 & Max – 30 years as on 31.12.2009

Application Fee: Print Fee Challan form from official website, then fill it and deposited fee of Rs.300/- (No fee from SC/ST/PH) in any branch of Union Bank of India.

Eligibility:

(1) Nationality and Citizenship: A candidate must be either

• A Citizen of India or
• A subject of Nepal or
• A subject of Bhutan or
• A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 01.01.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

(2) Applications from serving employees:

Subject to their fulfilling the eligibility criteria, employees of Union Bank of India may also apply through proper channel for the aforesaid posts. Such candidates, if selected, shall resign from their present positions in the bank and re-join the Bank’s service afresh.

Education Qualification:

1. Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at Degree level. OR
2. Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at Degree level. OR
3. Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any Subject with Hindi medium and English as a subject at Degree level. OR
4. Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any Subject with English medium and Hindi as a subject at Degree level. OR
5. Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with English and Hindi as a subject at Degree level.

How to apply?

Candidates required his/her own valid personal E-mail ID. E-mail address should be valid for the whole recruitment project. If candidate does not have any personal e-mail ID then he/she has to create it.

For Online Application:

• First you have to visit its official website www.unionbankofindia.co.in. Then on its homepage under the link of “Careers”, access the Recruitment Notification entitled “UNION BANK RECRUITMENT PROJECT”.
• Print out the Recruitment Notification.
• Re-visit the Bank’s Website and the Recruitment Notification.
• Click on the appropriate link, “ON-LINE APPLICATION FOR OL OFFICERS.)” (Will be available from 14.01.2010 only) to open up the appropriate On-Line Application Form Format.
• Then fill the form, required details and submit the On-Line Application electronically NOT LATER THAN.23.01.2010.
• Make a note of the selected System Generated Application Registration Number and Password.
• After applying On-Line, take two Print-Outs of the duly filled in Computerized System Generated Application Form.
• Attach your photograph at the appropriate place on the first page of the Application Form and keep ready with the one set of the prescribed documents to be brought along and submitted only when invited for the Personal Interview. And you have to carry your original documents for verification when invited for the personal interview.
