Get the results and winners list of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards that was held on yesterday 7th March, 2010 at the Kodak Theater on Sunday. It was considered as the biggest event of this year. In this ceremony, The Hurt Locker movie won 6 awards, especially the best film, defeated the block buster movie of all time the Avatar. This year’s most nominated films are “Avatar” and “The Hurt Locker” with nine nominations each.

The Oscar for the best Animated Short film has been achieved by Nicolas Schmerkin who won the Oscar for his flick Logorama. One of the best block buster movie “Avatar” won three Oscar awards for best Director, best Visual Effects, and best Cinematography. Jeff Bridges got best actor award for Crazy Heart as Bad Blake and Sandra Bullock got the best actress award for The Blind Side as Leigh Anne.
