Acid Factory Movie Reviews
The movie Acid Factory is about a group of characters, their sense of past has gone in a mist of coma like sleep. One fine day, they wake up from sleep to find trace of their past and reality can be a figment of their imagination. Five men Fardin Khan, Manoj Bajpai, Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea and Danny Denzongpa wake up in a warehouse and they realize that they have momentarily lost their memory because of gas leak.
However the exit doors are locked and there is no way for going out. They get a phone call from a mafia Kingping (Irrfan Khan) and they come to know that four of them are kidnappers and one is hostage. They are unable to tell anything to each other, they have to relate and find their identities prior to the outsider come.
Their logic of wrong or right is heightened by this condition of absolute disbelieve and self justice. This story disentangles from hazy mist of confusion perplexed by loss of memory. The tip of the iceberg is shown by the audience.
Acid Factory story is a high-octane thriller, every moment calculates and every flash of past is the terror of the unearthing of who you are or a stair towards understanding of the true self.
Director Suparn Verma takes to producer Sanjay Gupta’s school of cinematography using similar sepia tones, camera angles and shot-taking. When the characters trapped in a house-arrest situation, erratic communications of are evocative of the latter half of Gupta’s Kaante.
Appropriate casting and the performances do not disappoint spectators. Aftab, Dia and Fardeen are very decent and Danny looks as fit and fresh as the young cast. Irrfan Khan has less screen-time but he expresses more screen-presence. In the fast-food style, Acid Factory is masala movie but can be leave you with acidity pangs.
