On Thursday February 25, 2010, the fantasy adventure film Alice in Wonderland was premiered in London at the Odeon Leicester Square.

In the Royal World Premiere, Alice in Wonderland stars and makers including Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska, Crispin Glover, Matt Lucas, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, Christopher Lee, Alan Rickman, director Tim Burton, producers Richard D. Zanuck, Joe Roth, Disney Chariman Rich Ross and Disney CEO and President Bob Iger came to greet Prince Charles and Lady Camilla and watch the movie.
In the Alice in Wonderland movie, Alice is now 19 years old and accidentally returns to Underland, a place which is previously visited by her at 12 years ago. She told about herself, she is the only one that can slay the Jabberwocky, a dragon controlled by the Red Queen. The movie director Tim Burton said the original ‘Wonderland’ story was always about a girl who wandering around from one character to another and he never felt a connection emotionally, so he wanted to make it feel more like a different story than a other series of events and doesn’t see this as a sequel to previous films or a re-imagining.’
The story is written by Linda Woolverton. Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen and Stephen Fry are the stars of Alice in Wonderland which is an extension of the Lewis Carroll novels Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass.
