Performances:

Nara Rohith has made a very confident debut which is really needed for hero of Tollywood. Vedika is beautiful and simple Brahmin girl and has played her role very tidily, as per requirement for traditional role. Shayaji Shinde is in poorly former Naxalite role. Rajiv Kanakala’s character is with style and his traits are realistic.

Analysis:

Banam is a realistic, honest and well handled movie with technical work balancing the content. It is different at starting than ending; it sets you up rather well. This movie comes with mostly new faces and they all perform well. Art director Bhupesh R. Bhupathi has thrived in recreating 80’s look. Director also has created scenes like Shiva cycle chain scene. Debutant director Chaitanya should be applauded for treading off and for in selecting the story.

Technical departments:

This story is about a righteous guy, who struggles to be morally correct while cleaning out the wickedness forces in the society by sticking the rules and regulations of the system. Technically, the film is very good, Cinematography by Anil Bhandari is brilliant, and they have chosen the locales, which bringfreshness on to the screen. Gandham Nagaraju’s dialogues are very poetic.
