Anand Joan Alexander of 35 is Indian former fashion designer found serial rapist. He has appeared several times on the reality television show “America’s Next Top Model”.
Anand Joan Alexander was born in 1973 in Kerala India, and went to the U.S. for study at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. He later joined Parsons “The New School for Design”. He designed clothes for celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Rosario Dawson, Lawrence Fishburne, Gina Torres, Oprah Winfrey and Janet Jackson. Specific detail and Indian influence was in his style.
In March 2007, Jon was arrested on rape and related charges which based on the allegation of several aspiring models including a lewd conduct on a minor in Beverly Hills. The prosecutor added 15 addition crimes because investigation extended. He appealed not guilty to more than 40 counts including rape and sexual sequence in August 2007. He required his passport but not allowed to leave U.S.
He was found guilty 16 counts of sexual abuse and rape out of 23, including forcible rape of age’s 14-to- 21-years-old. On January 13, 2009 the case concerned with particular circumstances against several victims so he was scheduled to be sentenced.
A judge rejected his request for new trial in July 2009. High profile lawyers, who leading up Jon’s sentencing, were fired by him. On August 31, 2009 he was sentenced to 59 years to life in Los Angeles. He still faces charges in Texas and Massachusetts.
