On 21st January, 2010, South Indian Actress Navya Nair, famous for her roles in Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films, got married with Santhosh Menon at her home town Cheppad in Alleppy. Santhosh Menon is working as a vice-president of an advertising company in Mumbai; he is originally sleeting from Changanassery in Kottayam district. On the same day, the reception was held at 6pm in the evening at the same place. Their parents nearly took a month to fix the marriage date and arranged the ceremony on 21st January, 2010. Ms. Nair is the daughter of Raju, who is a BSNL employee, and Veena, a school teacher, a native of Muthukulam in Alappuzha.
Navya Nair made her first appearance in Tamil cinema with ‘Azhagiya Theeye’ movie. Navya Nair had performed in over 50 movies in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. She gained admirations for the extraordinary recital in Chidambarathil Oru Appasami, Pasa Kizhigal, Amirtham, Maya Kannadi and Raman Thediya Seethai. Recently, she has signed a Tamil film Gowravargal and has paired with Mammooty, Suresh Gopi and Dhilip in Malayalam films.
Approximate 5000 people including many movie stars like Suresh Gopi, Thilakan, KPAC Lalitha, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Divya Unni, Menaka Suresh, Sona Nair, Tamil actor and director Cheran, apart from CPI (M) State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan, Ministers G. Sudhakaran and Paloli Mohammedkutty, Kerala Congress (B) leader R. Balakrishna Pillai and his son K.B. Ganesh Kumar, among others attended Wedding as well as Reception. In the Reception party, Navya Nair wore Golden-cream color dress, in which she was looking awesome and her husband Santhosh Menon wore Black-suit in which he was looking quiet handsome.
