Now you can see the Michael Jackson’s “last photo” in entire international editions of OK! Magazine. OK! Magazine wants to set his final photo on the cover of their publication. I think, it’s a real tribute For King of Pop!
The photo shows Jackson being given CPR in the back of an ambulance as he lies dead or dying. And for the rights of the Jackson’s photo, OK! Magazine has paid around $500,000 and shows on the magazine’s “Official Tribute Issue”.
OK! Editorial director Sarah Ivens said in defense of the magazine’s decision to run the picture “It’s a photo that imprisons the shock and disturb and the moment of this breaking news story and also she hopes the cover will incite readers. It celebrated for the honor of Michael Jackson but it is also interpretation that he was an eccentric character who lived a very controversial life.”
Michael Jackson’s friends and fans are not agreed with the decision of OK Magazine as cover photo of the dying Michael Jackson. Recently they have launched a petition to stop the publication of further copies and said that the cover is not to celebrate Michael Jackson’s musical legacy but pure business.
