David Letterman has extorted by a CBS News employee, who trying to force 62 years old, late night host David to admit that he had sexual relationships with female employees in an extraordinary monologue before millions of viewers. This whole thing has been quite scary for Letterman but he mixed it in jokes while outlining what had happened to him, a laughing audience seems to confuse at Thursday’s taping about whether the story was true.

The person who was arrested works on the true-crime show “48 Hours” and has been suspended said the network. The suspect is Robert J. Halderman, said a person who had knowledge of the investigation. On condition of anonymity, the person spoke due to authorities have not released the suspect’s name.

Letterman called his lawyer for sat up his meeting with the man, who threatened to write a book and a screenplay about Letterman unless he was given money. Two subsequent meetings were happen there and at the last one Letterman gave a phony $2 million check to the man. Then a warrant was issued and the man had been arrested Thursday afternoon. It was like the giant ceremonial check given to winners of golf tournaments, joke made by Letterman about this incident.

Letterman had testified before a grand jury on the matter that he did something this morning, that he had never done in his life and he had to go downtown. He acknowledged the sexual relationships with his staff members while testifying. He said, yes he had, in his response. He said that perhaps if it were made public, then it would be embarrassing.
