Dodgers outfielder Milton Bradley Suspended

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Milton Bradley has been suspended for the rest of the season on Sunday, September 20, 2009. His suspension decision was taken on the grounds of violation of conduct, which saw the player openly disparaged about his team to the media. Jim Hendry the general manager said that, he decided to send Bradley at his home after learning of the player’s remarks in the Daily Herald of Illinois.

Many players and his team mates of Milton Bradley felt offended for his offensive comments which were published in a news paper. He said in his comments, “you understand why they haven’t won here in 100 years.” Bradley was signed $30 million contract for three years as a free agent with the team in last off-season.

Bradley was saying on Sunday that he is also tired of the media and the Cubs thumping him. Jim Hendry said in his statement, He has just decided last night that what he was going to do. The Cubs manager Lou also agreed with Jim’s statement and he also support him. He was also suspended for two games on April 2009 for his knee injury. This years season, Bradley was batting 257 with 12 homers and 40 RBI in 124 games.
