First person shooter video game, Call of Duty 4 (Cod4) developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii video game consoles and the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. The fourth installment of the call of duty is followed by a direct sequel, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare features “hidden packages” in its story mode which players can collect. These packages are called Intel. There are total 30 pieces of Intel, which shows in the form of a laptop. When you collect the enemy Intel, you will be able to add some extra gameplay features. Finding the Intel will allow you unlock new cheats for the single-player game after finishing it once. If you miss a piece of Intel, then don’t worry because you can try to search it another time by re-paying the level it’s on.
The total of intel and cheats unlocked correspond as follows:
- 2 Pieces – “CoD Noir” The game turns to black and white.
- 4 Pieces – “Photo-Negative” The game colors become inverted.
- 6 Pieces – “Super Contrast” The game’s contrast increases.
- 8 Pieces – “Ragtime Warfare” The game feels like an old silent movie.
- 10 Pieces – “Cluster Bombs” Five additional frag grenades spawn from the explosion of one frag grenade.
- 15 Pieces – “A Bad Year” The enemies explode into tires when killed.
- 20 Pieces – “Slow-Mo Ability” The game slows to 40% of its normal speed.
- 30 Pieces – “Infinite Ammo” You have an unlimited amount of bullets/ammunition.
Call of Duty 4 Enemy Intel Locations
Level: Crew Expendable
Intel 1: The First Intel situated in the room that the drunken soldier stumbles out of when you first enter the ship, near the two sleeping soldiers.
Intel 2: This Intel is discovered from the first area of the ship’s deck. Move left at the bottom of the stairs. The enemy Intel is on the separate piece of grate.
ACT 1
There are fourteen Intels to collect in Act 1
Blackout
Intel 3 : At the start of the mission, you will take out the two Russians guards to complete the “Eliminate the outer guard posts” objective. Once that is done, check the shack’s interior for the intel. The enemy intel is found inside.
Intel 4 : The fourth Intel is set up on the second floor of the building where you need to use night vision goggles, enter the bathroom before you save Nikolai. As you enter, the enemy Intel is near the toilet.
Charlie Don’t Surf
Intel 5 : This Intel is discovered from the first building, where you reached at the beginning of the level, head downstairs into the room filled with weapons. Enter the small room in the northwest corner of the building’s basement. There will be two hostiles in this room, and the Intel is near a television set.
Intel 6 : After collecting the previous intel, continue down the eastern road and turn right when the road splits. On the right side you will come to a building with a light blue interior and stairs leading up. The second floor holds the intel. Head up the stairs and grab the Intel.
Intel 7 : After killing the gunner in the pickup truck with the machine gun, you will cross the main road and you should see some stone steps on the right side leading up into a building. At the top of the steps, turn left. The enemy intel is on the desk.
The Bog
Intel 8 : The eight Intel is found near the starts of the level, on the second floor of the apartment building. At the top of the stairs, wait, until your fellow soldiers breach a door on the right wall. Step inside and turn left to spot the enemy Intel item on a table.
Intel 9 : You will finally achieve a small marketplace. Follow the group through the path until you reach a large stack of cardboard boxes. The enemy Intel is behind the stack of boxes.
