A sandbox-style third-person shooter video game, Crackdown 2 is developed by Ruffian Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios. In July 2010, it was released on Xbox 360. Crackdown 2 is a direct sequel to the 2007 video game Crackdown. Crackdown 2 game contains a lot of balls (literally) to ask gamers to find every last one of its 500 agility orbs. You need to collect orbs for getting achievements of the game. To find orbs, orb-ping could be used but this could take some time. If you collect all of the Agility, Hidden, Renegade and Online Orbs in Pacific City, then you will get the Solid Block of Orb-some Achievement, which gives you 50 gamer-score points. To collect Orbs, you require all 10 Achievements. 200 Gamer-score points are worth in total these Achievements.

Freaks and gangsters overrun in Pacific City and to bring order to the city, the Agency is counting on its own patented “supercops”. At night, Zombies roam the streets and the crime rate is skyrocketing, but you may find yourself distracted with all those pesky glowing Orbs. The dastardly spheres are hidden in the most obscure corners of Pacific City, just out of reach on the highest skyscrapers and sometimes they even run away.

Hints for orb collecting:

If you’re over the radar dot, and you look up and see sky, chances are the orb is below you. Look for nearby tunnel or sewer entrances if you’re on the road. If you’re on a bridge, look underneath.
There are choppers on the helipad at agency headquarters in the middle of the map. You need a high level of agility to actually make the jump onto the helipad but once you have access, orb hunting is much easier.
Lots of these orbs like to hide inside damaged buildings. Since you can’t use doors in Crackdown 2, try to enter through a broken window or a damaged section.
Balconies of multi-level buildings are another common hiding spot.

Crackdown 2 Agility Orb Locations:

The Green Bay area contains total 140 Agility Orbs. Most of them are in the East area. To collect orbs, there is no numbering system. You will have to watch the video to see how exactly orb is obtained.

The goals for collecting Orbs are to level up your skills & unlock achievements:

Level Up your Agility Skill: Increases as you go on rooftops to collect Agility Orbs, or by doing Rooftop Races.
Level Up your Driving Skill: Increases after killing enemies by running over them, racing, and collecting renegade orbs with your car.
Level Up your Firearms Skill: Increases by using more different types of firearms in-game, excluding rocket launchers or hand-held weapons.
Level Up your Explosives Skill: Increases by using rocket launchers and grenades.
Level Up your Strength Skill: Increases by punching, kicking, bashing, and smashing with melee weapons, such as stop signs & street lights.
Unlock the “First Rung of the Ladder” achievement (10 Gamerscore points) by finding and collecting an Agility Orb.
Unlock the “In the Net” achievement (10 Gamerscore points) by catching an Agility Renegade Orb or Driving Renegade Orb.
Unlock the “In Plain Sight” achievement (10 Gamerscore points) by finding and collecting a Hidden Orb.
Unlock the “King of the World” achievement (50 Gamerscore points) by finding and collecting every Agility Orb in Pacific City.
Unlock the “Sixth Sense” achievement (30 Gamerscore points) by finding and collecting every Hidden Orb in Pacific City.
Unlock the “Renegade Racer” achievement (20 Gamerscore points) by finding and collecting every Renegade Driving Orb in Pacific City.
Unlock the “Renegade Runner” achievement (20 Gamerscore points) by finding and collecting every Renegade Agility Orb in Pacific City.
Unlock the “LIVE and let LIVE” achievement (10 Gamerscore points) by collecting every Online Orb in Pacific City.
Unlock the “Solid Block of Orbsome” achievement (50 Gamerscore points) by finding and collecting every Agility, Hidden, Renegade and Online Orb in Pacific City.
Unlock the “Who’s the Daddy?” achievement (50 Gamerscore points) by developing each of your skills to their maximum levels.

Hunting Agility Orbs:

The green Agility Orbs give you a small Agility boost, some are worth more than others. You can tell how much an Agility Orb is worth by how “tall” it is, or by counting the number of green circles in its glow. Here are some important tips for hunting agility orbs:

You can see the locations of Agility Orbs marked as green dots on your minimap when you press UP on the D-Pad, but the scope of this “radar” is limited. Always use this exploit to extend your orb radar’s scope: Pause the game and un-pause it and you’ll see your minimap slowly zoom in on your location. Press UP on the D-Pad while it zooms to see Orbs in a much larger area.
Agility Orbs are almost always in the highest location above the radar dot marked on your minimap. Unlike Hidden Orbs you can always count on finding these orbs at the top of buildings and other structures.
Some Agility Orbs are directly above others, so use your radar after collecting each one to see remaining nearby orbs before moving on.
Some Agility Orbs floating above the Agency Tower seem to be floating in free space. This is because the tower is not completed — eliminating freak hideouts as part of Project Sunburst will cause the tower to slowly gain altitude. Nevertheless, you can grab these Orbs with the help of a helicopter early on in the game. Get a helicopter (see above tip) and fly up to a suspended Agility Orb. Use the camera to carefully position the helicopter alongside the orb. You will exit the copter on the “driver side” (facing forward, the LEFT FRONT side). Hop out of the copter right into the Orb to collect it. The falling helicopter’s blades will probably kill you after a few seconds, so beware!
A few Agility Orbs are high above the ground on smokestacks and the Agency Tower. These can be reached with a helicopter. Once you have fully upgraded your Agility you’ll be able to grab a helicopter from the pad in the eastern corner of Agency Island. Simply climb the windows on one of the southern buildings and use the Wingsuit to float over to the helipad (Tap Y repeatedly to get better distance out of the suit).
It will take between 300-350 Agility Orbs to reach the fifth rank of your Agility meter and unlock the Wingsuit. Filling the last segment of your Agility meter will not get you anything.
