Now, Sega has fulfilled the demand of their fans and the modernized version of the much-loved classic Sega’s Sonic CD is available for iOS devices (version 3.1), Android (version 2.1), PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. It is compatible with Game Centre. The version of the game also comes equipped with both the Japanese and US soundtracks, and the exclusive skill to play as Tails, Sonic’s flying sidekick fox. This time around Sonic is indicted with averting Dr Eggman from controlling the fabric of time by recuperating the missing Time Stones. Sonic CD is the first Sonic game where fan-favorite characters Metal Sonic and Amy Rose appears. Sega has also secured Game Center support, which carries achievements, leaderboards and friends’ lists into the equation, too. The game is far from being a dash port of the original game, and provides support for 16:9 widescreen. The game has also shoved the limitations of violent and sexual conduct in a mainstream video game.
