Now, Sega has fulfilled the demand of their fans and the modernized version of the much-loved classic Sega’s Sonic CD is available for iOS devices (version 3.1), Android (version 2.1), PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. It is compatible with Game Centre. The version of the game also comes equipped with both the Japanese and US soundtracks, and the exclusive skill to play as Tails, Sonic’s flying sidekick fox. This time around Sonic is indicted with averting Dr Eggman from controlling the fabric of time by recuperating the missing Time Stones. The game will likely plead to older gamers who are homesick for the games of their adolescence.

Sonic CD is the first Sonic game where fan-favorite characters Metal Sonic and Amy Rose appears. It is also the one and only Sonic game that contains a different level of “zones” (Future, fit present) to play.
