The pack is lead by Beyonce and Taylor Swift with Ms. Knowles-Carter receiving 10 nominations and Swift 8. 6 nods were earned by Black Eyed Peas, Kanye West, and Maxwell while 5 noms a piece was scored by Lady GaGa, David Guetta and Jay-Z. Whitney Houston, a strong favorite received NO nominations (WTF).

On December 3rd 2009, during a live television special called The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live! — Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night, the nominations was announced.
