Indiana University IU Student Duong Killed in Car accident

Police told that a student of Indiana University (IU) Peter Duong was struck and killed while crossing a street on the Bloomington campus on Wednesday September 9 at around 2.30 p.m.

Peter Duong of 19 years old was struck by a car and a driver was also student of IU. Duong was leaving his work on Wednesday afternoon and it took place near the intersection of Fee Lane and 13th Street. Duong was died at Bloomington Hospital where he was taken after accident. Lt. Craig Munroe told that the pedestrian just stepped into the street. He was going eastbound across Fee Lane and was struck by the southbound vehicle.

Student Talia Shifr told that it is scary because there are always cars in that area where accident took place. There is not even really a safe way to cross. So students just have to run and dodge in between the cars. More information about Indiana University Student Killed in Car accident.
