Edward Moore “Ted” Kennedy has been died at age of 77 of brain cancer on Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at his home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Kennedy’s memorial service will be held on Saturday August 29, at 5:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Basilica, in Boston. Church is commonly known as the Mission Church, where Kennedy prayed every day as his daughter battled from cancer in 2003.
His memorial service will be a private, only family and friends will attend the memorial. For two days, Thursday and Friday, Kennedy will be kept at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum at 4:00 PM, which will be closed to the public and media after some time.
Kennedy’s dead body will then be transported to Washington, for burial in Arlington National Cemetery at 5:00 pm. The sources said that, President Obama will speak at a Kennedy’s funeral mass, which has been scheduled for Saturday at The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the Mission Hill section of Boston.
