  • The Silence of the Lambs (1991):It was based on a novel by the same name. It won 5 Oscars. The story is about a young FBI agent who is assigned on a job of saving a missing woman from a psychopathic killer. To deal with a psychopath’s case she seeks help of another psychopathic killer who was a former psychiatrist. The psychopath wants something in return for his inputs on her research. He wants details of her life that is complicated in itself. And so the story goes..
  • Seven (1995):The thriller portrays a serial killer who is on a spree of sentences people who commit one of the seven deadly sins. He kills one person each who has committed a sin. Two cops are assigned on this case. In a plan to capture this horrific killer and stop his gruesome killings they find themselves ensnared in his diabolical plan.
  • Manchurian Candidate (1962):The plot of this movie deals with brainwashing of an entire unit of soldiers who took part in the Gulf War where they were led to believe that the guy who saved them was Sargeant Raymond Shaw. The then commanding officer Ben-Marco was knocked unconscious. Shaw consequently becomes the vice presidential nominee while Marco is at a quest of knowing what really happened and what dint the other day. The story is unveiled as Marco finds out that Shaw becoming a war hero was a part of a plot to seize the White House.

  • Double Jeopardy (1999):Libby Parson is happily married with her husband Nick and has a son called Matty. One day Libby spends the night with her husband on a boat only to find out the next morning that her husband is missing and she has a bloody knife in her hands. Meanwhile when in prison she realizes that her husband is alive and this was a well planned treachery. She comes out of jail and sets on for revenge to get her husband murdered for which she has already served 7 years in prison.

  • The Shining (1980):A family of three- the husband, wife and the son become caretakers of an isolated hotel during winter where the husband is underway in a writing project. As time goes by insanity creeps into the husband who is the victim of cabin fever and the former guests of the hotel in the form of ghosts. He is convinced by a waiter’s ghost to “correct” the family thus he is on a spree of killing his wife and child while the wife and child struggle to escape the horror.
