Vedam is a drama action movie. The music of the movie was released on May 3, 2010 and the music became very famous. The plot of film was totally wrapped during the production going on. Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi is producer of Vedam movie. He also directed hit movies like Gamyam. Vedam movie is produced by Yarlagadda Shobhu and Devineni Prasad under the banner of Arka Media Works.

Allu plays role as character “Cable Raja” who is cable operator. In this movie he is always seen wearing a cable around his shoulder which presents a strange kind of looks. Well known Bollywood actor, Manoj Bajpai and another old man plays an important role in this movie. Actress Anushka Shetty stars role as “Saroja,” who is portraying as sex worker for the first time in her career.

In the movie Allu Arjun walks in the slums of Hyderabad with a cable worn around his shoulder. He comes from lower strata of the society. He even climbs poll and goes into the house of people to see if their cable was alright. During this interaction, he delivers some dialogues of the movie.
