Fox has presented the two-hour holiday-themed variety show Carrie Underwood: All-Star Holiday Special on Monday 7th December 2009 at 8 PM ET. So here is included video clips of the special, along with video interviews featuring Underwood, Dolly Parton, David Cook and co-director Adam Shankman. This special appears to be very friendly and a lot of fun, which based on the clips and interviews. Multi-platinum recording artist Underwood performed new music from her upcoming album including also previous hits and holiday classics. She was joined stage with special guests and chart-topping music artists like Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley and David Cook. The special evening started with amazing performance of Underwood by singing “Cowboy Casanova” dressed in different tight black materials, with what looked like platform boots borrowed from KISS.
As you have seen that, Carrie gave an impeccable duet with Dolly, a stark “I Will Always Love You.” It was outstanding!!
Included in the preview was Underwood ’60s Trio Medley with Kristin Chenoweth and Christina Applegate. They wore hot pink dresses and wigs to sing “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” “Then He Kissed Me,” “Leader of the Pack,” and “Be My Baby.”
Carrie Underwood also offered a performance of sweetly raucous tribute to ’60s girl-group pop with Kristin Chenoweth and Christina Applegate. They wore hot pink prom dresses and wigs to sing such as songs “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” “Then He Kissed Me,” “Leader of the Pack,” and “Be My Baby.”
Mix songs performed in front of a studio audience was the main theme of the show as well as “a behind-the-scenes look at my life” – taped bits of comedy as she put it. There were also brief, starring moments of Underwood’s mom and dog Ace.
