I enjoyed the movie and the title sound of the movie, but I got goose bumps listening to Gladys Knight. I believe the song was “The need to be” which is an old song. My question WHERE can I find just that song sung by Gladys .
From my understanding due to issues with the recording companies and individual release dates there will be no soundtrack released. You have to look up all the songs individually some of which have not been released yet.

I see that everyone loved the soundtrack like me and have been looking all over for it. I love Tyler Perry, but I cannot believe that he put the movie out w/o the soundtrack. The movie was awesome and the songs were a huge part of why the movie was just sooo wonderful. I hope he releases the soundtrack soon so that we can all enjoy all of the songs on one cd.

Okay apparently i am gonna have to comment the same way as everyone else… Great ass movie, but where is the soundtrack? I know they have a soundtrack for the play write, but i would like the soundtrack for the Motion Picture itself. The songs were uplifting and yeah man i am a a huge fanatic for good music. Like everyone else I loved this movie, I have watched it four times and will certainly watch it again and again. It hit home fo rme as well as other people that I know.The music part was simply beautifu. And the happy ending just made me laugh,smile and..cry. Allof the actors/actresses were good!!!
