Siobhan Magnus is an American singer-songwriter from Marstons Mills, Massachusetts. Presently, she is a finalist in the ninth season of American Idol. “When you believe” was performed on American Idol Top 7 Season 9 on Tuesday April 20, 2010. She has performed on animated movie The Prince of Egypt song. The original artists of the song are Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. In this performance, she got a better voice control than her past performance. The remarks given by the judges on her performance were very mixed and even unsure if they liked it or not. The comments given by judges on her performance are; Randy: “It was just OK for me.” Ellen: “I disagree.” Kara: “It started to feel very dramatic. I still don’t know who you are.” Simon: “I agree with Randy. I found the whole thing to be a bit all over the place.”
