I miss Nick and I hope Ted can refine his tv personality. He really is very kind. I’ve been watching reruns of What Not To Wear for a few weeks. It hit me that Nick does the SAME hairstyle over and over again. Also, some of those women really want to keep a little length. He never would allow it. That said, I enjoyed him a lot.

I felt a like-dislike toward Nick. I hated the way he shamed women into letting him cut their hair. These women were obviously already traumatized by fear. They then had to endure his snotty little comments. Most of the time he did a fantastic job. But there were times when women had never had color put into their virgin hair and he insisted on treating it with chemicals. I was impressed many times when he changed them into real beauties. But, man oh man, did he screw up a few girls. I feel sorry for Ted. He must take a lot of guff off people while he is trying to fill Nick’s sissors. He has yet to develop an “on camera” personality. I guess if they both took “no” for an answer too easily, neither of them would have had a job. Whatever the future holds for Ted, I just hope WNTW continues to be on for a long time.

I like the comments here about Nick.

I’m a guy and we often foolishly prefer long hair. What I learned from Nick–and apparently many women have not, based on many of the ignorant comments I’ve read stating how Nick “hates” women–is that the right hair style is not the longest one, but rather the one that fits your face and body best.

The Nick I watched always tried to give guests a cut designed specifically for _them_, and I saw a lot of satisfied customers, often after the fact when they finally realized what a great job he’d done.

Sorry to see you go Nick. The show won’t be the same without you. Ted cannot replace your style, accent & personality on the show. Maybe you could have a makeover show of your own;) Miss you already Nick:)

i will very much miss nick. he worked with people’s features which is what ted doesnt do. the hairstyles he’s done so far are not that great

Not too wild about the new stylest. I miss Nick. I don’t find myself running to the TV every Friday night like I used to. I wish him a great future. What a terrific personality Nick is.

I have watched the new season and I am extremely disappointed with the new stylist. He has no personality and is very blah. I have not been impressed in the least with the hairstyles he has done thus far. My dream was always to have Nick do my hair one day.
