This is a terrible loss, for his wife-first, then for his extended family and friends, then for Hollywood. He was a great actor and now cancer took his life. Well, life is short and the unexpected does happen!

I will greatly miss Patrick Swayze and my condolences to his wife and family. I always had a dream for yrs that someday I could meet him and maybe have one dance with him. He was my idol and always will. Sorry for your loss.

how dare you presume that their comfortable life entitled YOU to be privvy to their private life. YOU are a joke and you seem to forget the irony of YOUR words, PRIVATE LIFE. If that is what has been chosen then YOU will be last person to know and deservedly so. This family are not some sort of circus for all to view at their whim. YOU should be ashamed of yourself. They are entitled to grieve as a family alone. . …… Patrick did not belong to you or anyone esle for that matter. If YOU were are true fan and respectable human being YOU would respect their privacy and allow them the dignity and respect they deserve at this terrible time. You will do well to HONOUR his memory with your own private thoughts and memory.

My wishes of comfort to his family on his passing. I am a fan and have all his movies. My question is, when was or is the funeral to honor this man and for his fans to say goodbye in their hearts. He worked hard and earned a lot from his fans that gave him the ability to live the kind of life he and his wife wanted. Seems unkind to me to forget all of them now. He and Lisa led their comfortable private lives. Don’t the people that put them on that ranch and tremendous acres of land even deserve to say goodbye? People forget where they come from and how they got there!

hey every body im am not so happy i love patrick he was my hero he was like a dad to me i watch all of his movie and i cried and all th eother stuff. Patrick, may the Lord Bless and Keep You in His Loving Care. My sympathies to his loving wife, his brother and to Patrick’s Mother who guided him towards the entertainment field to which he gave his all. It was Patsy who gave the world this special human being to admire and to be entertained by for generations to come.
