The Sturgis rally and races is very popular motorcycle rally in the world. Its events are one of the largest events in the world. Sturgis rally was founded by Jackpine Gypies motorcycle club in 1938. First Sturgis rally and races were lead by Clarence “pappy” hoel. The first event was started in Sturgis South Dakota. Only few friends attended this rally. They race in the streets of the small town near the black hills.
Recently this motorcycle rally had celebrated their 69th anniversary in 2009. In this rally 525,250 visitors and participants attend the rally. The 70th anniversary of Sturgis rally and races will be held on august 9-15, 2010 in Sturgis, South Dakota. According to the people the rally of 2010 will be very impressive event. People can get more fun in this event. Black Hills hosts the 70th Sturgis rally. It is world’s largest motorcycle rally. Bikers will come and enjoy the rally.
