We all are familiar with Suchitra Krishnamoorthi who is an Indian actress, writer, painter and singer. On November 27, Suchitra Krishnamurthy was born in a family of academicians. In 2007, Suchitra got divorce with her Shekhar Kapur, a renowned filmmaker from India and they have daughter named Kaveri. In the early nineties, Suchitra was a successful model and with the film “Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa”, she made her breakthrough in 1994. Acting is not her primary career as she is a singer; writer and she simultaneously pursued a music career in the mid to late 1990s.
Recently by Maharashtra government, Suchitra Krishnamurthy was booked for allegedly employing child labor. But on the next day, The Labour Ministry of the Maharashtra government clarified that she had been wrongly charged on the basis of incorrect information gave by an NGO and apologized.

Watching your ‘What’s on my bookshelf’ video, I was wondering how to interest you in my published Benign Flame. Later when I watched the book launch of The Summer Cool I was tempted to ask for copy from you. Hope, my hopes won’t be liars on both the counts if you mail me for a complimentary copy of my Benign Flame whose blurb reads thus:
“As her father was constrained to help her in becoming a doctor, Roopa opts to marry, envisioning her man serving her cause. But as you might agree, sadly for the genuine Indian fiction, the mainstream publishers, to cater to the Western prejudices crassly promote the Indian stereotypical novel that either deprecates the Indian society or dabbles with the diasporic angst.
