Is Joan Bennett Kennedy Ted Kennedy’s first wife being attending any of his funeral services? I am sure, this question has been rising in you mind!! The answer is positive. To honor the life of her ex-husband, Joan Kennedy attended the memorial on Thursday August 27th at the JFK Library, I was a little surprised. She feels that it’s very nice to be included in the final saying goodbye to him because Ted and Joan Bennett Kennedy were married for a long time (for 25 years) and also have three children.
It can be a bit awkward. And may be Joan Kennedy will attend the Mass and Burial services. But former wife of Ted is close to the other members of Ted’s family, she was Ted’s friend too and less we forget their children who love & respect her!
At the Kennedy compound, while her ex-husband fought a brain tumor this summer, the once-striking blond who in the heyday of her beauty resembled “Mad Men’s” lovely and lonely Betty Draper, rented the nearby home on Squaw Island that once belonged to her own wealthy family.
