The “America’s Got Talent” auditions was claimed to be in Seattle but it took place at nearby Tacoma. One of the Judges, Peirs Morgan told that he was the lone ranger of rock as no one wants to play with him.

A 43 year old woman, Kari Callin has been singing for 40 years but no one believed that she was a singer and so she had come their to prove herself as a singer. She sang “Somewhere” from the “West Side Story” soundtrack. The Judge Sharon told that it was one of those moments where the hair stands up on the back of your neck and Piers also told that she had an amazing voice so she was sent in the next round in Las Vegas by the judge.

A group of students named Reality had the disturbing happy song playing in the background. They sang a song Sit down You are Rocking the Boat from Guys and Dolls. They actually had talent in them but the arrangement was not proper. Judge Piers told that it was one of the uncoolest things he had ever seen before and Sharon wanted them to go to a retirement home with their routine.

A hip-hop crew, Destined 2-Be were dancers from Indiana. The judges love their heart and their style and put them through to the next round. A 29 year old singer and harpist, Rashida Jolley sang and played “Killing Me Softly”, which she learned from her late father. Judge Sharon liked the singing and the harp playing, but she was confused by the combination. All three judges voted to move her on to the next round as her voice was beautiful.

A couple of guys who were college roommates Matt and Anthony (no group name) formed a song and dance act. Matt played acoustic guitar and danced while Anthony sang. All the judges liked their way of singing and dancing so they were sent to the next round.

Mia Boostrom, 16 who was a Piano player and singer, was cut in Vegas last year. She played and sang “Georgia on My Mind” by Ray Charles. Judge Sharon noticed that she had increased confidence and personality. Hoff told that it was great but not perfect though she had got everybody’s attention. And she made it through to Vegas.
