There are various T.V. shows which have been cancelled from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. You can see the list of cancelled T.V shows which are not going to be come back for the year 2010-2011 T.V seasons. As per some sources, these shows are canceled due to bad ratings and strange storyline. Just cross your figures so that your favorite shows not in the list. There are large numbers of shows from various networks which are being canceled.
List of Canceled T.V shows of 2010:
“Til Death” (FOX):
Due to a deal with Sony TV to produce enough episodes for a syndication package, Til Death survived for four episodes. Til Death gets various low ratings and it was cancelled. The final episode of Til Death airs on May 19th.
“10 Things I Hate About You” (ABC Family)
The show is based on the Shakespeare’s play “The Taming of the Shrew”. The season 1 of this show did well but its second season is not good. At last there won’t be season 3 and it was canceled.
“24” (FOX)
‘24’ is an American ‘serial action’ television show starring Kiefer Sutherland as agent Jack Bauer. Finally this series is going to be end and it is decided by network, studio, and executive producers.
“As the World Turns” (CBS)
Due to low ratings, the network has decided to end the show venerable soap opera after 54 years on the air. In September, It will go off the air.
“At the Movies” (Syndicated)
This show is movie review which featured newspaper film detractors Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel for various years will be coming to a close in August. Ebert says that he is going to work on his program which will include new hosts and interaction with an online audience after parting ways with Disney.
“The Beautiful Life” (CW)
The Beautiful Life show is about young and good looking models and competitive world of high fashion. There are various stars like Mischa Barton, Corbin Bleu, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Nico Tortorella, and Elle Macpherson. This show had low ratings and was pulled after two episodes. On you tube, the series’ five episodes have been posted.
“Ben 10: Alien Force” (Cartoon Network)
After three seasons and 46 episodes, this animated show is ending. So, the fans need not to worry because this show will be replaced by Ben 10: Evolution later this year.
“Better Off Ted” (ABC)
This comedy show should not have been given a second season by ABC in reality. The ratings of season 2 were horrible so it is decided to end the show and won’t be coming back for season three. Still, ABC has two unaired episodes.
“The Bill Engvall Show” (TBS)
Bill Engvall plays Bill Pearson, a family counselor who can’t always figure out his own family. Nancy Travis, Jennifer Lawrence, Graham Patrick Martin, Skyler Gisondo, and Tim Meadows are the stars of this series. After three seasons and 30 episodes, the series was cancelled because the ratings of this series were decreased.
“Bill Moyers Journal” (PBS)
This weekly news show originally ran from 1972 until 1976 and then after from 1979 to 1981. In the year 2007, the show was revived by Moyers and in November 2009, he declared that he would be rating from the program of April 30 2010.
“Blonde Charity Mafia” (CW)
Blonde Charity Mafia show revolves around a trio of powerful young women in Washington, DC. Before moving to CW, it was first developed for lifetime. Later the network has decided to cancel this series due to delaying its airing. To another outlet, the show may be sold.
“The Bonnie Hunt Show” (syndicated)
For the two season, the show has been on the air but it has low ratings. The distributor decided to cancel the show and original programs will continue to be produced until June.
“Dollhouse” (FOX)
Dollhouse is a science fiction series follows a group of people who have their personalities dabbed and replaced with other persons for projects-for-hire. The show was renewed for a second season despite low ratings. The show was cancelled because its third season has lower ratings than second season, the last episode was aired on January 29, 2010.
“Heroes” (NBC)
After the declining ratings of the seasons, the peacock network has pulled the plug. To wrap up the series, there are plans in the works with an event of some kind.
“The Hills” (MTV)
The Hills is a television program which follows the personal lives of various people living in Los Angeles, California. This reality show is coming to close after its six seasons.
“Scrubs” (ABC)
In the last season Zack Braff and others left the season. The ratings of the show were terrible so it comes to end.
“The Superstars” (ABC)
Celebrities were paired in the reality competition series with top athletes and pitted against other teams. For a rerun of The Bachelorette, the ratings were terrible and the network even bumped the finale.
“Ugly Betty” ABC
This show is cancelled by ABC after its four seasons due to low ratings in the season three and four. The finale episode of this season was aired on April 14, 2010.
