Gutur Gu : India’s First Silent Comedy Show to air on SAB

India’s first Silent comedy show “Gutur Gu” has been started from 5th March, 2010 and It will broadcast every Friday at 8.30 pm only on Sab. Sheetal Maulik, Sunil Grover, Nayan Bhatt, Bhawna Balsaver, Jaidutt Vyas and KK Goswami are the stars of this series. Sheetak Maulik and Sunil Grover played a lead role with other stars.

Gutur Gu series was produced by B P Singh, who has made the Popular “CID” and ‘AAHAT’ series on Entertainment network. Gutur Gu is directed by Prabal Barua.

Gutur Gu is a story of a family with sweet characters. The series story based on sweet, simple, innocent and super excited character Balu, who always manages to get into disaster in his otherwise dull and routine life. Balu somehow succeeds to even ordinary situations into native adventures.

Anooj Kapoor, who is the Business head of SAB TV, known for its innovative and fresh content, was “silent” in staying with the idea of the show, but emphasized that to create people laugh is the topmost priority of channel. B.P. Singh, who is the best known for his crime and horror shows, said that he was a lover of the “Chaplin films” and wanted to do a silent comedy as per the Chaplin genre.
