A 30 years old actress, Katie Holmes performed a song and dance tribute to the legendary Judy Garland on Thursday July 23rd 2009. Katie sang Garland’s classic “Get Happy” on special 100th episode of “So You Think You Can Dance”.
Katie told that the reason for doing the show was to introduce the new Dizzy Feet Foundation to the world. The aim of this charity is to provide scholarships and assistance to talented underserved youth to help them realize their dreams of becoming professional dancers and will also help to raise dance instruction countrywide.
This charity is co-founded by Katie alongside SYTYCD judge Nigel Lythgoe, director Adam Shankman and Carrie Ann Inaba. Nigel told after Katie’s dance that he thanks Katie for working so hard and she is doing a great job. Enjoy the video of Katie Holmes Song at Judy Garland Tribute here.
