The Grammy Award winning rapper Lil Wayne had come back with his new VH1 show “Behind The Music”. The iconic series “Behind The Music: Lil Wayne” was premiered on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 10:00 Pm on VH1 channel. The show documented the lives open up about musician’s childhood, his struggles and his music. This show was originally began since 1997 and finished in 2006.
‘Behind The Music’ show also looked at Lil Wayne’s rise to pop stardom and featured a number of familiar faces from his past. This show has been produced by Mannie Fresh and Juvenile offers insight in the MC’s prolific ascendance. “Behind the Music” will also dedicate other shows to Bobby Brown on September 24 and T.I. on October 8. The new season of Behind the Music will finish with an episode about 50 Cent on October 13 at 8 PM.
Lil Wayne’s sixth solo album “Tha Carter III” was the overall biggest selling album of 2008 and he took home four Grammy Awards, where he lead the nominations with eight nods. Recently he has also released his upcoming album “Before I Self Destruct” is set to be released on September 29, 2009.
