Obama on David Letterman Show

President Barack Obama appeared on the CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman” on September 21, 2009 at 11: 35 PM in New York, which was taped on Monday afternoon. This was Obama’s first visit to Letterman’s show during his Presidency. He is the first sitting President to appear on Letterman’s show. Letterman asked him some funny and serious question about Iraq, Afghanistan, and the state of the economy question.

He said about his controversial “lipstick on a pig” comment regarding VP hopeful Gov. Sarah Palin. He was feeling relaxed and cheerful during a talk about Sarah Palin. He was worried about his decline poll ratings and Sarah Palin’s fact. He also said about his body color, he thinks it’s important to realize that he was actually black before the election.

Letterman asked mostly very serious questions to Obama but he was handling the situation delicately. Letterman has often dedicated an entire this show to such as high profile guests. The former US president Bill Clinton had also appeared in the Letterman’s Late Show on Tuesdays September 16, 2009.
