Pee Wee Herman (Paul Reubens) on Jay Leno Show
Actor Paul Reubens visited the Jay Leno Show on Tuesday night September 22 as famous children’s show character Pee-Wee Herman. Paul Reubens is well-known for his role he played on television screen as Pee-Wee Herman rather than his real name. He showed off his new “abstinence ring” on Jay Leno Show. The joke was a reference to Reubens’ arrest for indecent exposure at an adult theater in 1991.
On Jay Leno Show, Pee Wee Herman also talked about his first song recording as a child. He sang “Let’s Get Together” by Hailey Mills.
Reubens was dressed in his trademark Pee-Wee Herman grey suit and red bowtie on the late night program to promote his new stage show The Pee-Wee Herman Show. In the 1980’s, Reubens also had a stage show of the same name as an innocent and kooky character first in “The Pee-wee Herman Show” and then on the children’s television show “Pee-wee’s Playhouse.”
