The 58th Miss Universe 2009, annual pageant has taken place on August 23, 2009 in Nassau, Bahama. Miss Dominican Republic, Ada de la Cruz has competed at the Miss Universe 2009 Betting Odds pageant against 84 global beauties.
Ada de la Cruz is the second woman in the Dominican Republic beauty pageants and win the crown. Ada de la Cruz grew up with very modest upbringings, and was able to accomplish many goals in modeling and beauty pageants. She is known as a Dominican Cinderella in Dominican press.

So something about me? My name is Francesco … I’m 28 years old … I’m an Italian boy, I live in region Marche in the middle of Italy, on the Adriatic Sea, on the East side of Italy. I work in a bank and I’m also a sport professional player. Yes sport is my work too. I play table tennis and I play in Italian Serie A and in Italian National Team and, thanks to that, I travel a lot and I visited many countries in the world and I like this because I love travelling!
What’s else? I love the beach, the sea and the summer … I live very close to the beach … just 5 minutes by walk and in summer … when I can … I love to be there. And also I love to have friends from all over the world, because I think that speak with people of different countries, with different traditions, different cultures is always an important way to learn always something more!
