Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez 2009 Pictures
Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez won the “2009 Miss Universe” pageant in the Nassau, Bahamas on Sunday night August 23. The 18 years old Stefania Fernandez was crowned as the most beautiful woman in the universe. She was crowned by reigning Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela. Last year she also won the Miss Venezuela 2008 title in a pageant held in Caracas, Venezuela.
Stefania Fernandez looked very beautiful wearing a red evening gown during the beauty pageant. Miss Dominican Republic Ada de la Cruz was crowned the first runner up and the other top-five finalists were Miss Kosovo 2009 Droga Ganusha, Miss Australia 2009 Rachael Finch and Miss Puerto Rico 2009 Mayra Matos Perez. The top 15 finalists appeared in swimming suits before the final 10 were chosen for the evening gown segment.
The 58th Annual Miss Universe 2009 event was hosted by Billy Bush, co-anchor of “Access Hollywood,” and former Miss Rhode Island USA Claudia Jordan. Judges included were actor Dean Cain and supermodel Valeria Mazza.
