    High blood pressure is also called hyper tension. When the heart pumps out blood, the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries is called blood pressure. When this pressure rises and stays high over time, this condition is called high blood pressure. High blood pressure can damage the body in many ways. My mom has a blood pressure since 3 years.     my blood pressure remained high since 7 yeaars. 180 over 100 I took medicine iregular. Now i have observed that my heartbit iregular and also my pulse rates are geting down in between 49-55.I have consuted to doctor. after several test of blood, ECG and ECO he found everithing is normal except size of my heart little bigger than the normal size. he told me nothing so serious but you have to be careful and take medicine regular.he gave me AMVASC 5mg & LISINO 10mg. Since I took them their is little reduction on my Bp. but the same time i observe tha my hert bit is iregular I told this also to doctor but he said to me just continue with the same madicine.plese advise me. thanks.
