Lemon juice:

Obtain 1-2 teaspoon of freshly prepared lemon juice and rinse over the scalp and wash it away. It not only makes the hair shiny but also prevents it from dandruff and lice.


Add 6 tablespoons of hot water and 2 tablespoons of cosmetic vinegar. Apply this mixture all over the scalp, cover the scalp with cloth and keep it overnight. Wash hair with plain water or add little of that mixture if required. This should be done twice a week for three months.

Aloe vera gel:

About 10-15 minutes before you wash your hair, rub a lot of aloe vera gel into your scalp. Leave it on for 10 minutes, and shampoo your hair like you regularly do. If you do this everyday then the dandruff will stay away.


Take a small quantity of curd for fermentation for 2-3 days. Apply this curd to the scalp and hair. Dry it for 1 hour and wash it off. It removes dandruff as well as makes your hair shiny.

Coconut Oil:

The best place of purchase coconut oil is at any natural or health food store like GNC. Apply the coconut oil to the scalp and scrub away the dead skin with a brush or fingernails. Next, either hold your head under a faucet of hot water or in the shower under hot water for 15 minutes. You will have instant results that will last up to six months or a year.

Olive oil and ginger root:

Take combination of olive oil and ginger root on the head. It will reduce the dandruff and also nourishes the hair at the roots.
