Black pepper can be utilized as a home remedy to clear out the stuffy or a blocked nose. Eating the seeds of black pepper, which are scorched can be taken in the morning. For a quick relief, you can also inhale the fumes by setting the seeds of black pepper on fire.

Inhaling the fumes of apple extract vinegar can also help to get rid of stuffy nose. Place three tablespoon of this vinegar in a pan and set it on fire till the whole vinegar is exhausted and inhale the fumes produced.

Grapefruit juice can also cure stuffy nose. Add some grapefruit juice in lukewarm water and take it. This home remedy can be used as an inhaler. Follow this remedy while going to bed or early in the morning.

Crush some cardamom seeds to form powder and put them in a handkerchief. Tie the hanky properly and keep it near your pillow cover. This is a very useful home remedy for treating stuffy nose.

Horseradish is another good home remedy for stuffy nose. Take a horseradish and grate it. Mix it with a teaspoon of honey or apple vinegar. Put this mixture on your tongue and try to take a long breathe. The fragrance of this mixture will make the blocked nose loosen and hence will result in quick relief.

Place two to three drops of peppermint oil on a cotton cloth. Get it close to your nose and inhale it, the very core of peppermint will aid in bringing some relief.

Prepare a paste of fresh menthol leaves and massage the paste under your nostrils, before going to bed. You will find yourself free of the problem of stuffy nose next morning.

Eucalyptus is a natural home remedy to get rid of a stuffy nose fast. This works very analogous to over-the-counter ointments and vapor rubs used to treat nasal congestion. Mix small amount of oil extract from the plant with massage oil or white petroleum and apply it to the chest, neck, etc. But, this is not suggested for people who suffer from asthma, some allergies, and/or other breathing disorders.

Avoid heavy foods, especially dairy products. They only make your nose stuffier. Eat light things, such as soups, applesauce, and fruit.

Combine tulsi, lemon juice and ginger juice in equal proportion. Add some honey. Eat this mixture twice in a day.
