Raw vegetable diet – raw food diet
The raw food diet or raw vegetable diet is a diet, based on uncooked and unprocessed plant foods, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, seeds, sprouts, nuts, grains, beans, dried fruit, and seaweed. Raw vegetable diet is the future of the diet, as it is a naturally low fat organic diet.
To increase the nutritional value and “life force” of food, raw vegetable diet is suggested.
Cooking food above 116 degrees F is believed to destroy enzymes in food that can assist in the absorption and digestion of food. So you have to take at least 75% of the diet must be living or raw.

Consumption of a raw food diet helps in lowered plasma total cholesterol according to the Journal of Nutrition publication.

- Legumes
- Unprocessed organic or natural foods

For certain people, the raw food diet may not be appropriate, like:
- People with anemia
- Children
- People at risk for osteoporosis
