Do you know that what is a Bayfest Hawaii? No, so sad……….Bayfest Hawaii is a fun-filled festival of entertainment, music and games. Every year it is held at the Marine Corps Base in Kaneohe Bay and organized by Marine Corps Community services. It features carnival rides, live concerts of world-famous bands, and nightly firework shows. There are competitions with grand prizes to be won, military displays, and more.

The 20th Bayfest Hawaii 2009 will be held on August 14 – August 16 at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay. In the past this festival was held during the 4th of July weekend. But now the organizers have pushed the event until august. Marines and Sailors of Marine Corps Base Hawaii are joining for the largest music festival. Bayfest has fun and entertainment for everyone.

Festival performers and lineup of live music for all three nights to be announced. Grucci provide a fireworks feature for this three-days event. BayFest also offer something new for everyone like a All Hawaii Cruises Coconut Island Boat Rides, E.K. Fernandez midway and carnival rides, the ‘build-your-own boat’, food booths, Bathtub Regatta, BodySearch Fitness Challenge, military static displays, BayFest 5K Run, plus much more.

The purpose of BayFest is to provide an understanding of the local community and to pay tribute to the military members who sacrifice themselves for America’s freedom.
