Chicago Air And Water Show 2009 Schedule & Performers
The Chicago Air & Water Show is one of the world’s top air shows. In 1959, the Chicago Air and Water Show launched with modest fanfare. This year, Chicago Air Water Show 2009 is being held on August 15 to 16, 2009 at 10 am to 4 pm. The admission is free for everyone and more than 2.2 million people come to Chicago specially for this event each year.
Many people attend the Chicago Air & Water Show during the weekend, for the brilliant pieces in the water, the flight educations, excitement of the aerobatics, and more. The military plans to show off several fighter planes including the F-15, F-16 and the A-10. Blackhawk and Apache helicopters and a P-51 Mustang are expected as well.
Red Bull’s trick helicopter will perform this year, which can perform back flips, barrel rolls and pilot Chuck Aaron’s signature move, the “Chuckcilvak.” At the show, Civilian Aircraft that will be visible including Team Oracle, Red Bull, and the Chicago Fire Department Air and Sea Rescue.

Chicago Air and Water Show Accessibility Information
According to organizers, the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities tent will be located approximately 50 meters northwest of the North Avenue Beach Boat House, along the bicycle path.
