The National Energy Conversation Day/Week
The National Energy Conversation Day is celebrated each year in India as a day for consciousness and conventional energy sources and aims to promote energy efficiency and understanding regarding diverse sources of non-conventional and Energy Conversation.
An Energy Conversation Day or week is an action that aspires to involve the extensive public in a wide range of activities associated to the construction or use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. On the National Energy Conservation Day many programmed had been organized and observing the period as Energy conservation Month.
Union Ministry of power had organized the annual energy conversation awards function on the event of Nation Energy Conversation Day on 14th December 2007. The celebration was participated by school children, teachers and general visitors to Science City in numerous activities to spread the message and practice of energy preservation and awareness.
