American people are very excited to celebrate their Independence Day on July 4th 2009. The wait is over as now it is the time for residents of Lisle and the surrounding communities to join together in celebrating the 29th annual Eyes to the Skies Festival this year. This is one of the most watched features of the Festival every year.

Lisle Eyes to the Skies Festival Pictures

The Eyes to the Skies Festival is known throughout the nation for the amazing demonstrates of hot air balloons. The carnival started from July 1 to 5 and festival started from July 2 to 5. The most fabulous view you can see of these balloons is just before and after the fireworks shows. In the darkness of the night you can see the balloons shining and give their own light show as the balloons will be lift off about 100 feet and tethered to the ground. Visitors of the hot air balloon festival can watch daily initiate of hot air balloons and nightly balloon glows.

The festival will take place at Lisle Community Park located on Short Street off Route 53. This year more than 300 Lisle residents volunteer helped this event and the attendance every year was more than 150,000 at Lisle to watch the Skies festival. Fireworks will take place from July 2 to July 4. The festival will feature children’s area, music and craft fair.

The entrance fee of the Lisle Eyes Skies festival is $3 per person and free for children younger than age 5. It will be free for all the Lisle residents before 5 p.m. on July 4 by giving the proof of their residency and on that day there will be free entrance to military workforce and veterans by giving their identification.
