2009 Sausalito art festival

Sausalito has hosted one of the finest outdoor Fine Art shows in the country, since 1952. Labor Day weekend will be Held on Sausalito’s waterfront from 4 to 7 September 2009. More than 35,000 Art Collectors are attracted by the festival to celebrate the virtuoso talents of the finest local, national, and international Artists. Over 20,000 original works of art features over 285 extraordinary Artists presented by The Sausalito Art Festival.

According to the festival’s website, there will be plenty of musical acts and entertainment. The Sausalito Art Festival has lots of activities, great wine, lots of delicious food and lots of opportunities to meet new people. The main thing about this festival is plenty of fine art for viewing and for purchase.

Sausalito art festival celebrated its 57th year on Friday 4 September with a grand Preview Party at 6p.m. at Marinship Park on the waterfront in Sausalito. Since 1979 the festival tradition of has been on the opening night party. The festival re-invents itself each year with a festive theme to keep the 1,000 guests and artists coming back for more of what they call “the party of the year”. “Havana Nights,” is this year’s theme, and Dan McCall and Associates, will catered for this feature Cuban-inspired foods and dance the night away to the sounds of salsa music will revelers.
