Cambridge University students celebrated the end of their exams as a 24-hour drinking, staggering and vomiting marathon, which showed that even the brilliant brain can be smaller. Cambridge students dressed up in top hat and tails or glamorous ball gowns and they paid £265 for a double ticket to the 143-year-old annual all-night event.
They enjoy a full English breakfast and smoked salmon bagels in the college garden. After enjoying a night of entertainment featuring belly dancing, comedians, magicians and a steel band, most were still spotlessly dressed and comparatively sober.

It was in stark contract to the weekend where drunken students vomited, passed out or injured in alcohol-fueled game, when they celebrated the end of the exam on a “Suicide Sunday ‘party.
Above 100 year old, Trinity May Ball is always held on the first Monday of May month for the End of term at Cambridge University. 1000 students was celebrated their liberty from study at the ‘Suicide Sunday‘ event, which was held in Anstey Hall, a 17th-century manor house on the outskirts of Cambridge on 14th June, 2009.
All-girl jelly-wrestling competition and Boozing Games competitions headlined the event, organized by the Wyverns. Cambridge University’s end of the Exams party “Suicide Sunday” existed up to its reputations with students collapsing in the roads after downing extreme amounts of alcohol.
Spectators were shocked to see boisterous bikini-clad students struggling to stand up and vomiting at midday on a Sunday afternoon.
Some finished face down in the grass beside the road. Others were taken to hospital with alcohol-affected damage. Some had extremely civic brushes with the law.
One student had to be taken to hospital after an instigation which allegedly involved tackling a rugby player from the university under-20 side. The first Anstey Hall fatalities started to come out at noon after the private party officially began.

The Hardcore drinkers went to join other drinking club events after the festivities ended at 3pm. Girls sporting summer dresses and discarded shoes staggered painfully through the streets. It should be said that not all the celebration parties were rough and dissipated.
21 year old Simon Allen is a third year maths student at Pembroke College. He organized his college’s garden party. He said that the Wyverns party is the worst. It’s obscene. Therefore, there were two ways of looking at Suicide Sunday’s wilder protagonists. One was that they are still young…that they want to excuse vapor…and that they are doing what students everywhere have done for generations.
