Bhai Dooj is the Hindu festival of India which is celebrated on the fifth day of Deepavali or Diwali between brothers and sisters to strengthen the bond of love they share. It is one of the most awaited festivals in India. Every year the festival comes two days after Diwali in Kartik month. ‘Bhai’ means brother and ‘Dooj’ means two days after new moon. On this auspicious day, sisters put tilak on their brother’s forehead and pray for their long life.
